Shortlisted for the The Royal Photographic Society International Print Exhibition 158
I was delighted to receive an email to tell me that my image of South Beach in Skerries ( taken at sunset in October 2014 ) has made the shortlist for this exhibition ! This is the Society’s 158th International print Exhibition. 5000 images were submitted from 56 countries. 400 were selected for the shortlist.
The selectors will be making their final selection from prints in August and the 100 exhibition images will be announced in September.
The exhibition will open in October at The Old Truman Brewery as part of the Photomonth International Photography Festival in East London. It will then tour the UK, at venues including the Royal Albert Hall. Further details of the exhibition tour will be available in September.
Needless to say I am delighted with this achievement. Two other photographers from Ireland, Pat Brennan and Eamon Wall from Kilkenny Photographic Society also made the shortlist .
The final selection of 100 images will be made on the 11th August.
